I had been to the Double Decker festival in Oxford a few times and listened to some of the bands and they were okay. Nothing special. This year it was so packed I just stayed home and mowed the lawn. Idiot. This year they had Samantha Fish. I hadn't followed the lineup on Face Book because I've been kicked off. I've posted her stuff here before and would have loved to see her. Might have been my only chance.

I get a kick out of how you assume we'd know what news story you're talking about based on the lyrics.

I strongly approve, PigLick, not only did I see that live just prior to Covid, but I dreamed about that very song only earlier this week. Yes, I have weird dreams, and sometimes they involve a soundtrack. It was Control and (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHkD6NO2dmM) Lightning Man, as I was walking through rainy streets in Soho. Not that I ever saw NEP in Soho, only ever saw them at rock festivals or in Glasgow. Dreams are weird. At least mine are.
