Ah hell, one more. What's going to happen? Renz is going to come back and scold me? I wish he would. No really.

One of my all time favourite songs. Thank you.

Also, this. For no other reason but that I still think it's funny.

It is funny. Also damn good. I would have liked to see the whole song played that way.
Here is an album I've grown to like. It's trippy and sort of the thing to play at a party with poets, bikers, and acid. A background mood sort of thing for roaming around in the moonlight talking and dancing with a drink in your hand.

I remember this. I used to listen to a bit of Queensryche a long time ago. I even remember a very drunken night on a train, where me and a friend were trying to persuade a poor unfortunate Swiss backpacker tourist that he really needed to listen to some Queensryche album, but I forget which one. I think it's safe to assume the Swiss guy dismissed us as drunken idiots, which we were. But we were trying to be helpful.

I watched the TV series For Life and they played this in the background, so I had to find out which song it was. And I'm glad I did, cause damn this song is just about as good as sex:

This song is called "Dagur á ströndinni án þess að hafa kærustuna með" by an old Icelandic band called Jet Black Joe. I'm not sure exactly when it was recorded but the earliest publication of it I could find was on their Greatest Hits album in 2002. If I had to guess it's from somewhere around '92-'96.
Oh, and the name translates to "A day on the beach without bringing your girlfriend along" :cheeky:

This song is not their "classic" style, though. I much prefer the songs "Higher and Higher", "Rain" or "I Know".

So many catchy Finnish rock tunes hidden away out there.

It's a cool song indeed, but it's actually a cover. Not that there's anything wrong with covers, but this one's a bit too similar to the original, I think.
