I love "Unconditionally" and "Tell me something I don't know" on their "Waiting for the Punchline" album. :thumb: "There is no God" is also a killer song if you have a really loud stereo.

fuck anybody who mentions More Than Words.
What would you say if I took those words away?
I've always dug Extreme and Nuno ... rocking hard since Pornograffiti. Very underrated IMO, at least for what he's best at (which is not acoustic ballads).

Jesus, Extreme still exist as a band? They certainly werent underrated, they had big critical and commercial success back in their heyday.

The song I hear over and over these days is by Dennis DeYoung called "RAIN".
It simply will not leave my mind. :sly:

Yeah, underrated isn't the right word. I meant more like they were most known for More than Words and Hole Hearted when both of those weren't their trademark sound. Bettencourt can shread but I feel like that isn't what a lot of people first remember about him.
Same thing with Berlin being best known for Take My Breath Away, lol. Seems sad that a heavy band would be best known, of all their songs, for the most sappy.

Yeh, I agree with you there, remember Janet Jacksons 'Black Cat', she hired Nuno as a guitar gun to get that funky metal sound that he was flavor of the month for. I think Extreme just came to the party a bit too late, the rock world was looking for different sounds, and they found it in the rawer, more DIY styles of the early 90's bands.

Metal done with cellos, what more can you ask for plus this song is one of their heavier ones :cheeky:
