Good song. Reminds me of Björk and Portishead.

Anyway I was watching A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night which is a weird vampire love story and they had a few songs in it. I liked like this one-
(
https://youtu.be/LTh9IuSTOY0) White Lies - Death
White Lies were great, I danced myself sober to that song when it first came out (2008 I think?). They had another then called (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlmSqyMT0FQ) Farewell to the Playground which has a similar New Wave sound.
If you like those you may also like the early stuff by Desperate Journalist, especially Control.

I do like them. Sounds like 2008 whether it is or not. Those were good days for music. I like her later stuff too though it sounds very similar song to song it's nearly always a good song.

They were right? Thank god someone can confirm this. I wasn't sure if it was just my personal experience. Back then I had just ended a long term relationship and dove head over heels into the music that was around, started going out dancing again and I thought wow! there's a lot of good music around:
Jamie T, Babyshambles, Robyn, Gallows, Chromatics, Patrick Wolf, Mika, Marnie Stern, Electric Six, Bright Eyes, Bon Iver, Beirut, Arctic Monkeys, Vanessa Paradis, The Maccabees, Au Revoir Simone, Kings Of Leon, The Wombats, Feist, Justice, She & Him, Portishead, Starfucker, Goldfrapp, Metronomy, Dirty Pretty Things, Born Ruffians, Dead Meadow, The Breeders, The Kills, Guz, All Girl Summer Fun Band, Those Dancing Days, Grace Jones, Los Campesinos!, Eagles Of Death Metal, Gorgeous Colours, Alec Empire, Bomb the Bass, Fleet Foxes, the pigeon detectives, Cansei de ser sexy, Chairlift, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, White Lies, The Black Keys, Son Lux, Laura Marling, The Do, Ladytron, Little Joy

I book-marked this 7 years ago because of her attitude and the way she plays to camera. She died four years ago today, 24[SUP]th[/SUP] March 2017.

Lately, I've started getting into Igorrr. I remember trying them out a couple of years ago when looking for more breakcore--other than Venetian Snares--but never felt like their style of it was my thing back then. Now, that has changed with Spirituality and Distortion, an album I see myself returning to. It's not only breakcore, though, but a mix of genres, sometimes in the same song/track (although mainly breakcore and death metal, I think it's safe to say).

I remember posting some Igorrr years back and not getting into it either. It took listening to Öxxö Xööx (same people) to get into the mood. No breakcore here - just otherworldly metal in a made-up language, probably because French isn't the right aesthetic for it. :p

Probably the 4th time I've posted it in this thread, but at least I don't post it every time I listen to it (which is like 4 times just when I wake up every day).

They sure like their ümläüts. :p Kind of doom metal? Right now it's a little too slow for me, like music to fall asleep to, but interesting sound and singing. Worth a later listen when the mood is right.
Would that made-up language perhaps be the same as for Igorrr's
Downgrade Desert? The latter kind of sounds like latin, but, then again, kind of doesn't as well.

It's definitely not doom metal. I have no idea what to call it, but they're obviously classically trained.
Downgrade Desert is also in the umlaut language, along with everything else by Corpo Mente and Ele Ypsis.

Something different - a great song from a band that otherwise doesn't interest me.
