Current song you are listening to(or the Last song you listened to) - by Andarthiel

Sort of went a little Sergio Leone at times there. Cool.
I can't quite decide how much I like The Rigs. A lot of their stuff is slinky slow. This one has a nice build to it though.

Thanks to Gray, I'm listening to Hanatarash right now:

Once when I was young and foolish (which I still am of course), I got Pizzicato Five mixed up with some Japanese noise punk band:
- Pizzicato Five? Oh, you mean that Japanese noise punk band?
- Yeah, like, no.
I had heard them on the radio a few times, but somehow missed what they were called.
Edit:
Someone described the music of Hanatarash as therapeutic and, yeah, I can see it used as such, like a headcleaner.

This reminds me of the time I lived next door to a sound art student.

I'm following a winding rabbit trail again:
The Shaggs -
My Pal Foot Foot:

The backstory is partly sad, but also made for some interesting results. I especially like this one, because of the drums. If you're not immediately into it, try playing it at double speed. As far as I know, they were all forced into pursuing a musical career by their authoritarian father, starting with no experience at all, and were still learning the basics when recording their first album (and they knew this themselves, but their father made it happen anyway). Not following conventions -- even if it was accidental -- is what makes it worthwhile to me.
Deerhoof -
I Will Spite Survive:

Someone mentioned Deerhoof while I was listening to The Shaggs and they have also covered
Foot Foot. The singing reminded me of something else and it took a while before my marbles fell into place, but I think it was Broadcast on
Tender Buttons (a band I was into during a certain time in my life (channelling my inner emo?)): (

Ornette Coleman -
The Shape of Jazz to Come:

Mentioned as an example of "freeform".
There's more, but I can't post it all. What binds it all together -- other than having been mentioned in relation to one another -- is that it never gets boring, which is otherwise a problem I have with a lot of music. There's also some I haven't listened to yet, like Vivian Girls and Charles Ives, but I'll get to that in my own due time.

I enjoyed Primus'
Wynona's Big Brown Beaver and Blackberry Smoke and never tire of
Sultans of Swing.
“Guitar George he knows all the chords”. :D The start of
Lady D'Arbanville by Cat Stevens reminds me of
Lady Jane by the Stones 1966.
Ornette Colman I always find difficult to take in but I’m trying. :D Unfortunately YouTube ads were a bit too
free jazz and came in half way through tracks 2, 3 and 4. I didn’t know he died quite recently (2015).
I liked Rita Payés and was very taken by her Mother and
her videos and St George Quartet that Rita plays in. I’ve played their 18 minute (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbbEqXn3_0c) video twice. Love everything about it. Calm, assured, nothing affected.
Best I can do in return, another family (also with young lady who plays brass) and their response to lockdown.
I’m with the dog. :D

Very noisy, but so was I, so it's even really.
