Current song you are listening to(or the Last song you listened to) - by Andarthiel

Never heard of a Narwhal cane? Sadly the way they are hunted traditionally by Eskimo causes four of five to sink as a waste on the ocean floor. As beautiful as they are I would never own one for that reason. Mentioned by famous authors like Melville and Steinbeck. I collect canes. They often go with my hat collection... which often go with my grandchildren imagining hilarious scenarios. Anyway, I lusted after one till I just could not reconcile it with my conscience.
I love the B 52's. Is the lead singer guy gay? I never can tell but like to think so because it somehow makes the songs more fun. Can you tell I'm drunk? I think I'm hiding it well but can you? Is it just the lots of questions thing that gives me away? I just cannot stand the tension of this election.
Anyway this is an old song from when I was a kid which bookends my life and you likely won't like but is lullingly sentimental to me. I like catching an oldies station play something I've forgotten though it happens so seldom now.

(
http://www.radiozodiac.com) Radio Zodiac from Dublin is my favourite station. They play what you would expect in an Irish pub. Lots of 60s but also the good stuff from later decades up to the 90s. Say hello to Joey from
Speedy Taxis!

This seems to be the song of the hour.
Democracy is Coming to the USA.

Quote:
Sail on, sail on
O mighty Ship of State
To the Shores of Need
Past the Reefs of Greed
Through the Squalls of Hate
Sail on, sail on, sail on, sail on
It's coming to America first
The cradle of the best and of the worst
It's here they got the range
And the machinery for change
And it's here they got the spiritual thirst
It's here the family's broken
And it's here the lonely say
That the heart has got to open
In a fundamental way
Democracy is coming to the USA
...
Sail on, sail on
I'm sentimental, if you know what I mean
I love the country but I can't stand the scene
And I'm neither left or right
I'm just staying home tonight
Getting lost in that hopeless little screen
But I'm stubborn as those garbage bags
That Time cannot decay
I'm junk but I'm still holding up
This little wild bouquet
Democracy is coming to the USA

The 10yo girls in the apartment below me are screaming the St. Martin song at the top of their little lungs. That's the song I'm listening to while trying code a newspaper layout.

Heard this on the Tonight Show and like it. I like the way she paints the story and I like the story she paints.

Well I'm into Gunship, innit? As I've mentioned in the vaporwave thread.
This is a choir arrangement of a Gunship track. I think it's ace.
