Well, it didn't happen this week, but here's hoping. Or at least for a two month incapacitation until Orange Flop becomes irrelevant. I don't actually wish for his death, just for him to STFU and go away, and stop ruining the world for the rest of us.

In the late seventies and early eighties I read Heavy Metal illustrated magazine. Naturally I was thrilled when the movie Heavy Metal came out. I dug all the music and bought the soundtrack that I blasted full volume riding around Oxford likely on some cheap Kraco speakers I would blow out and buy more of. This was one of the songs. It was also an animated scene in the movie that someone has now computer generated. It just lacks the sliding up to an old farm house.

This is the song most associate with Heavy Metal probably due to a South Park episode where they sniff cat piss to get off.

@Tocky There's a 6% chance that the Tesla Roadster will crash back to Earth in the next million years.

So I'm reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte and therein ((
https://www.wuthering-heights.co.uk/wh/novel/html/chapter_07) chapter 7) a young orphan boy named Heathcliff is encouraged by a nanny that he could knock down his rich and well-bred rival for Cathy's affections if he wanted to. To which he says:
‘But, Nelly, if I knocked him down twenty times, that wouldn’t make him less handsome or me more so. I wish I had light hair and a fair skin, and was dressed and behaved as well, and had a chance of being as rich as he will be!’
That seemed a very prudent line to me, especially the last part and especially coming from an English parson's daughter in 1847, commenting on the arbitrary nature of the fate his contemporaries allotted to him. (And yet he ends up owning Wuthering Heights?!) Other than that it's a bit of a Gothic horror story that Kate Bush pointed me to, singing from the point of view of the aforementioned Cathy. I love that song and video. :o
