Okay goddamnit. Y'all asked for this. I gave you a chance but you kept posting stuff that I can't tell if it's a joke or not so here is one for you. Again NSFW.

The problem with rap is that even if it is parody it still sounds exactly the same as any other rap. It does so without any acknowledgement of it's own ridiculous excess in the first place.
This, however, is how you do parody. It acknowledges and plays off of the stereotype. Not only is it funny but it's a rocking good time.

Hell yeah. I bought that album right after seeing them open for 38 Special. I didn't envy 38 having to go on after them. They rocked the house and blew anything before or after out of the water. They were one of those bands whose sound just couldn't be captured on an album really. You had to experience them.

I'm always up for good retrowave, although I have problems with bands focused so heavy on emulation of the style, rather than using it to reach their own goals.
Btw., I'd love to hear some new stuff by someone like Neon Indian, who seem to make this kind of music as if it was the most natural thing in the world:

Sometimes when I need a calm, relaxing song to wind down to, this is what I play. So soothing, so relaxing.

Harp, double bass, and a wailing guitar.
