Its like Modern... 80s. kind of a vibe. Makes me think of New Order and The Cure, and maybe a bit of the smiths.

"Believe Achieve" by CSS
Only song on their new album that's as instantly likeable as some of the stuff on their debut.

I kind of have a love-hate relationship with hip hop but this song is epic.

A short backgrounder: back in my teens I was a huge fan of ELO (kids, google it up), had (actually still have) most of their albums, and thought that their concept album 'Time' was the greatest.
Well, I still think 'Time' is one of the greatest rock albums ever. So, when I saw a remastered version with 3 bonus tracks on Amazon, I bought it, even though I had the original.
One of the bonus tracks is called 'Julie Don't Live Here', and damn, I'd have paid the full album price for just this single. It's classic ELO, fantastic melodies and harmonies, feels like there's two or three songs in that one pop tune - I love it.
So that's what I've been playing for the past few days, any chance I get: Electric Light Orchestra: Julie Don't Live Here.

Yeah, she's great :). I strongly prefer her version of (
