Curing Lycanthropy in DaggerFall. - by suliman

While i was investigating a dungeon i was bitten by a werewolf and got Lycanthropy. In order to cure it i need to wait for some letter to arrive and do what it says. Problem is, i'm always a werewolf. I stay at this form for game months, so i can't enter the inventory and check if i got it. Is this a bug? Is there some way to fix it, or should i restart?

Once a month for 24 hours you have to stay in Werewolf form. There is a spell in your spell book that you can use to change back.
The simplest way to get cured is to find a Witches Coven and do quests for them. You'll eventually get a quest where you have to transport pure water to someone. Instead of delivering it, drink it instead and you'll be cured! (Also works for Vampires.)

You can use the + - buttons to switch spells without accessing the menu.

OK, so i loaded a previous save, problem solved :)
And yet another question: can i still complete the main plot if I ignored the letters from Whateverhernamewas?
