I just saw the alchemist in Anvil's Mages Guild sell 1 empty grand soul gem. I was only at level 4. So maybe just check all of the mages guild alchemist merchants, and get the associate status while you're there (then you can feed on the sleeping mages when the need arrives, and camp in their guildhalls when it's day.)
It's still a lot of traveling... :(

Not the ideal solution, but if you don't mind coughing up for Deepscorn Hollow, there's a much easier vampire cure contained inside. It's also a good haven for vampires and members of the Dark Brotherhood.
I'm not sure if it's better value for money if you buy it seperately or as part of the Knights of the Nine 'expansion' pack, but I thought I got my money's worth out of the latter.

How much exactly?
I don't have much - it's all invested into property :)
Weird thing. Yesterday I was busy with joining the Mages Guild and lockpicking showcases (got another 3 empty great soul gems). By that time I hadn't fed for awhile, but when I went into my inventory to check whether the gems had or had not souls in them, I noticed that I looked nearly the way I did when I only started to become a vampire (rather pretty I'd even say, for my albino skin was yet innocently young and white, it was only eyes that changed their colour from green into red). And after I went upstairs and fed with one of the sleeping mages I again was looking hundred years old...
Could be a bug though.
EDIT:I'm sorry, Matthew, I was wrong. It
is possible to fast travel at daylight :) (ignoring you never even crossed my blood-sucking mind :p)

I know you already have most of the other official mods, so it would probably be cheaper to buy it separately.

It's impressive how well-informed you are being lately. :)

Yes, I wonder how I knew that?

Help. :(
I got one gem at Imperial City market, two - at Layawiin Mages Guild. Seems like I'm stuck finding the other two. Please help. Seems like I've been everywhere now. Maybe anyone could direct me to a particular place I had missed.... :(
Anyone, Matthew? :p

Random treasure. :p

Calindil at the Mystic Emporium in the Market District has one, which can be bought or pickpocketed.
You can steal one from Melisande's basement (accessible through the fireplace next to her bed)
There is one available in nearby Squandered Mine while you are on this quest.
There is one available in the Crayfish Steep zone of nearby Crayfish Cave.
There is one in the Arch-Mage's Lobby of the Arcane University. It is in an unlocked display case along with two more Grand Soul Gems that are not empty.
There is one in an unlocked display case in the Mage Quarters of the Arcane University at the bottom of the staircase on the left as you enter.

I've been there... :o
Well, not there exactly, but why it hadn't occured to me to check there I have no idea....
Thank you :)
