Right, my woodelf also got really ugly and feeding didn't help. Makes me wonder how certain NPC vampires keep their appearance so /normal/.
That was one more reason to reload...

Then I carried out the cure quest and was suitably chastened by the final act. :(

I don't know about the powers, because, frankly, I just slept a long time in the DB sanctuary (I was infected voluntarily, that's why I had a save for emergencies), then I looked at her ugly face and ran off to find some beggar to feed on. The guards didn't approve of her appearance, too. "Move along, treehugger!" and "Stand clear!", they said.
Coincidentally... the woodelf member of the DB was camping near my victim, and she watched the act quite curiously.
But then the face was still sooooo ugly that I ran off to Raminus Polus. The look on his face was priceless when I woke him up, by the way. Just like he was thinking something along the lines of ":erm: has she just fed on me?"
Gotta love those facial expressions. :D

The powers are tempting, I agree.
But my look bothers me - how ong do I exist like that without feeding?
BTW, it was nice to know you do not actually kill those whos blood you suck. But what do you do to them, then? Spreading around vampire infection? It can't possibly pass without any effect on them, can it?
