He had balls... I'll give him that. But I cut him down with my Enchanted Elven Longsword pretty quick. Poor guy didn't have a chance...:cheeky:
I took the usual approach when dealing with vampires ... stealthed my way up behind him, doused him with gasoline, and set him on fire.
Custom spells:
Douse With Gasoline (100% Weakness to Fire on target, 45 seconds)
Incendiary Touch (Fire damage on touch, 20 points per second, 10 seconds)
He ran off immediately, but he didn't run far ....

sorry for bumping up an old thread, I didn't want to start a new one.
I've collected five grand soul gems, but when I talk to the witch all I can say is I haven't got them yet..
I thought it was because one of my soul gems was stolen, I sold to that guy in Bruma and bought it back from him. the red hands not on the soul gem anymore but she still won't take um..
any clues?

Are all of the soul gems empty?

Sorry, I am new here and I have no idea why but when I went through the Vampire cure, I got everything that was needed but the chick only took one of each? I was a little upset since I went through so much trouble getting them. It wasn't worth the effort I put into it. But I did get to sell what was left and as I am a great thieves guild member....I have a very high return on anything I sell....:laff:

Er... Guys? Which witch are you (were you) talking about? I haven't met anyone, neither got any clue towards how to cure my vampirism. I saw the dream and that was it. No one talked to me. Neither I was given any quests on what to do. Tell me at least what ingredients do I need to make the right potion.
Thanks :(

You cannot make the potion, the witch does it for you. Ask people (especially healers) about your new conversation topic, 'Cure Vampirism', to start the quest.

Raminus Polus in the Arcane University will get your cure quest started. :)
The next step in the quest was messed up when I tried to do it, as the Count was still talking about "information for a prize" (I hadn't finished this quest at that point.)
When I left his castle, the game threw up and some error kicked me out, and I was glad to reload a save before the infection had manifested itself. :p (I might do it again at some point though...)

While I'm running about asking people I get so terribly ugly that I'm afraid very soon they would not want to talk to me :(
Actually, I've been doing it for a while now, but nobody seems to have any idea what's happening to me. They never mention any vampirism matters.

Thanks! Nice to know it has a start - and, fortunately, might also have an ending :)

I've got a bad habit of overwriting savegames so the latest one should be.... well.... somewhere in the middle of the second Armand's quest :(

That can be solved by feeding.

Only certain people will, and they will eventually direct you to Raminus Pollus (thanks for short-circuiting all my work Lytha  ) :p

Now that you know where to start looking for a cure, that shouldn't be as much of a problem, no?

But it's not solving. I am still ugly. Though full :p
