I've not had chance to try these tweaks yet but wanted to ask you what kind of performance you get in Crysis, at what settings, and on what system?
I've got the offical patch installed thats supposed to give optimisations for SLI configs and at the "Optimal" settings of all medium the dev console reports an average of about 40-50fps (perfectly smooth for the most part but can get skippy at some parts, such as when blowing up the battleship at the port in the 1st/second level, I forget which it is or during large fire-fights).
The graphics look OK at medium settings but I wouldn't necessarily say they're as spectacular as Crysis is supposed to be... will these tweaks get it looking better without droping too many fps?
My specs:
AMD x2 6000+
2Gb 800MHz DDR2
2x 8800GTS 320Mb (in SLI mode)
Res: 1280x1024
DX9 (XP)
Also, I have AA switched off to prevent the weird texture glitch bug (haven't tried turning it back on since installing the patch though).

Oh shit sorry Dad, I never saw your reply.
I use the 1st + 2nd tweaks that I linked to in the original post (I haven't tried the 3rd one). I get about an avg 24fps.
My specs:-
Core 2 Duo E6400@3.0GHz
4GB DDR2-667@752MHz
1x 8800GT 512MB
Res: 1440x900 w/ 2xAA
DX9 - XP x64
I tried the one in my 2nd post. It graphical details looks about medium and I get 40-60fps.

Thats good to know!
I just put Vista back on last night (XP was getting bloated and I was getting annoyed with having to wait 5mins to get online at boot due to an Nvidia network adapter driver issue) so I will have to do some comparison checks.

Don't really have a game rig - but good for most games still:
* all high @ very high under XP mod - as linked itt
* prettyfication mod - as linked itt
* XP 64bit
* Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 (They didn't have what i wanted when i wanted it - but good enough. More than needed for any game. Had taskmanager open on second monitor [and lots of junk on background] - prety much never goes above 50% with Crysis)
* 2GB * 4 DDR2-800 Apacer - way more than any game needs.
* Gigabyte NVIDIA 9600GT 1GB - i prefer silence when i work.
* 1680x1050
= 20FPS mostly but drops often as low as 15FPS (for no apparent reason :/)
The fake motion blur pretty well hides the fact that FPS counter is way too low though. Surprisingly playable - but i prefer what i had with no mods (is there some list that notes what differs between graphics modes?).

Considering that Crysis usually chews up 1GB of system RAM, I'd say so.
