This is a very fine mission, schwaa. Thanks a ton!
But:
Spoiler:
I'm playing on 'T.Hunter' difficulty, and I've completed all the objectives and I know how to exit the mission, but I am having a very hard time finding Lyla's nine diamonds. I've only found four and I've been playing for hours! Can anybody clue me in?

You should check out schwaa's site, NoCokePepsi. He has posted pictures to give you an approximate idea of where to look for the diamonds without giving it away entirely. If you're still stuck after that, e-mail me and I'll tell you exactly where they are. His site is here

Thanks, Nightwalker. I got 'em all.
This is a great mission, schwaa. It shows imagination and technical grasp. I've played through three times now. The icicles are a great touch. The map is large and intricate, which can be confusing, but I think this is a mission with high replay value. I have yet to play through sneaker style, but it seems like a good mission for it.
Thanks a lot, schwaa. Your efforts are much appreciated!

Hi, oldgeezer! I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.

Spoiler:
To find the first oroborus, which lets you get into the throne room on the top floor, you need to go into the front hall (with the big staircase) and, standing with your back to the front doors and facing the stairway, go into the room to your right. Go across that room and out the other door into a hallway. Turn left and go down to the end of the hall, through the spider webs to the last door on your right. This will take you into a storage room. Go to your left into the next room. In here there should be a couple of small white spiders and a cloud of flies over in the corner. Look over in the corner with the flies for the oroborus.

Keep in mind with this mission, also, that there are a few doors that don't light up, so you can't use lockpicks or keys on them. You CAN smash them down with your sword, though. There is a diamond behind a door like that, just in case you haven't found it yet.

I wish I had leftovers! We don't get Thanksgiving here at the same time as you. Our turkey from Thanksgiving is a distant memory (early October) and I have to wait until Christmas now.

Spoiler:
It could be you're in the wrong car. Are you at the train close to the front doors? If you are, that's not the right train car. Go look for an entrance in the big round cave with all the bone piles on the floor. If you are at the correct train, then you have to be in the car that doesn't have the mask in it. The other one has a note and some supplies for your trip at the far end. That's where the mission ends.
