Why did you put quotes around Illinois?

I don't know about that smile. That circle around Connery's mug and the sub's tower is supposed to represent either an iris or a reticle, meaning the two objects in it are the targets. Why is the hunter caught in the crosshair, and why is he smiling while at it?
(edit) Speaking of targets, maybe the sub can be replaced with something more relevant to this election, as well. Anyway, it's a helluva good start, and a lot more creative than whatever I can come up with, I should add.
(edit) Well, I guess it would be a complete bastard if you change too many things around. Maybe everything else can be left alone, but his mug can be changed to something a bit more somber and facing a different angle. And yeah, making the face a bit bigger would be better composition, I think.

It's okay--if you're into that sort of hacky, morning-zoo material.

This is the unintentional comedy post of the thread.
You giant nerd.
OT: I thought it pretty amusing. Especially the "JOIN THE HOPE".
Aja on 21/10/2008 at 22:02
Except it should still say JOIN THE HUNT, or else change the movie to HOPE FOR BLUE NOVEMBER.

As for the concept, I don't think the movie holds enough cultural weight for anyone to care.
Get out.

The face doesn't work at all here because Connery's face had a harsh front light with stark contrasts.
Also the red light in the original had an obvious source (besides the obvious meaning). It's the alarm light in a submarine.
What you have is a blue tinted photo of smiling Obama.
And it's missing the obligatory movie poster bottom credits.
In short, this isn't very good. Try again.

I agree about movie poster bottom credits, which I think could give you the opportunity to do something really witty. Also about the silhouette of the sub, maybe you should use the (
