Being a big Return Fire fan, I symphatize with you.

I have to agree with liking both type games depending on what mood I'm in.
I recently purchased Prey and am having some fun with it. The problem is though, beneath all the glitter it's really just a good FPS, nothing more. About half way through it I got a bit bored and installed Clive Barkers Undying becasue I hadn't played it in a few years. Very underappreciated game BTW.
Anyway I finished that, and just had to try and get SS2 installed again on XP after many frustrating attempts in the last few years. Lo and behold I did get it installed and in hydroponics now which is the furthest I've gotten since I got XP.
Now I'm hopelessy hooked on it again, and it's great because I don't remember a lot of what happened gamewise because when I first played the game a few years after it came out, I was a hardcore drunk and used to play shitfaced all the time. So it's almost, not quite, but almost like I've never played the game before. Good stuff!
Anyway though, I WILL finish Prey just like I played F.E.A.R and HL2. (although still haven't finished fear.) Those are good games when you don't want to tax the ol brain too much and sometimes I just don't want to have to THINK to much while playing a game.
Oh and to Zylon. You and I had some good arguments regarding DE IW back when that first came out. As I recall you seemed to think it was crap. I liked it then and I STILL think it's one of the better games to come out in the last 3 or 4 years. Not nearly as good as the original, (nothing could be!), but still a good game IMO. I recently played it for the fourth time and find it's like a good wine that gets better with age.
The game got a bad rap in my humble opinion.

More like you're calling for backup, am I right?

DigitalVibrance is obviously not used to play games where you need to use your brain for the thinking for a change.

No, just thought it was worth mentioning.
