My band recently played Berlin, so I thought I'd drop (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydh61TSC9Qo&feature=channel&list=UL) THIS here.
Video taken from near the stage, so unfortunately the condenser mic squashes out a great deal of the fidelity, including the total loss of my guitar, but hopefully captures some of the atmosphere of what was actually a damn fine gig if the testimony of others is to be believed.

Reminds of... 80s...The Cure? Anyway, kudos for going out there on a stage and rocking out!

I grew up on The Cure and hear that enough to not bother to deny the influence.
It's not everyone's cup of tea, but then neither is anything. Was great fun, but really fucking hot.

When? :wot:
I refuse to believe it. Evidence please! If you did something I may well have offered criticism but "ripping" "apart"...
As to this new effort, yeah it's quite nice. The transitions at about 40s and then 1m17s are pretty cool, and the slowing down is nice. But it never goes anywhere - I'd have liked some more out-there percussion and fills; there are 2 large sections that drag on for too long. Of course you know that it ends abruptly and not in a "this is supposed to end like this" kind of way.

Love bands with lady bass players! Holy clipping out though a terrible recording. For some reason your vocals remind me of an australian 80's band called Kids in the Kitchen. (

Heh it was here: (

Also, I couldn't help but think of Bush-singing in your video faetal. Music sounded way better than Bush though even through the recording.

Good God man, that's not a ripping.

I'll check that link out when I get home. That's just our Europe line-up, Tim, the guitarist lives in Berlin, I'm in the UK and Sanna, the bassist lives in Malmö, Sweden - we're all old friends, so it always doubles as a catch-up. When we play the UK, we're a 4 piece with live drums.

Thicken thy skin lad, I was even complimentary! Fwiw this new one is much better. Imho.
As to the end - fade out some of the instruments (possibly one by one), then slow the tempo, fade the volume a little, resurge with
much faster tempo and a single tone, cut all sound except the single tone, let the tone play for about a second, end. It's almost what you've done already, just uber do it in compressed form at the very, very end.
