Frozenman, it's like Flying Lotus crashed into Oneida (a good thing!).
Renz, 3D modelling is always something I wanted to get into. And when we started planning a game, I downloaded Blender and was intimidated, and I gave up. What you're doing looks awesome though (I have kind of a fascination with 3D models, I remember I liked that gate you posted a while ago, too).

Yeh make a nice tight little deathmatch level. Frozenman your stuff sounds intriguing, but I have no real frame of reference for that kind of music. I would like to hear more organized sound, from a personal veiwpoint.
Jesus Aja master your songs louder godammit! I gotta say this is awesome stuff though, you sound like a real band(if you know what I mean). I know your influences but this really reminds of Simon+Garfunkel and CrosbyStiilsNash as well. Great vocals, nice harmonies without being too over the top, I am definitely showing this to some of my friends!
ps nice little guitar bit at the end of Skeletons in the Closet. Not sure which track I like better, have to listen to em a bit more. Really impressive though.
As far as production goes I cant hear a lot wrong with it(apart from volume) the drums and bass sound good, which is the main thing. Hehe I can notice a couple of Dan-esque flourishes in Endeavour as well.
Ok edit - in Endevour there is an instrumental section round the 3:00 mark, this really detracts from the song in my opinion, the entry back into the vocals is a bit dodgy.
The pinnacle of these 2 recordings is Skeletons - 1:53 to 2:30 that is sublime, if you can capture that sound.

May as well repost what I had in the other thread: (

I've got some classical recordings I did recently which I'll upload too. Keep the ball rolling!

I've got stuff, but not much of it digitalized (or online if it is) just now.
This gives me a good reason to do that sometime.
But in the meantime one thing that is online: I did an English translation of a famous Doraemon comic as part of my Japanese practice, then made a (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BO9LLRcweYc) video out of it... And I'm happy with how it turned out. (And I think translation is a kind of creative art, trying to capture a thought in the best words ... All the other translations I found of this are just awful.)
Then there's my Darkmod (
http://www.mindplaces.com/darkmod/fmdetails.php?id=6) FM of course ((
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMI8bWNsm_8) video).
Musically, I play jazz piano. So I'll be sure to upload some of my playing...
if I can ever find a piano and digital recorder in this city ^^;

That's your problem right there. Blender's powerful and alll, but it'll scare the shit out of about anyone only just getting into modeling. If you want something a little more elegant and easy to come to terms with, I suggest trying out (
http://www.nevercenter.com/silo/) Silo and going through some of the (
http://nevercenter.com/silo/videos/tutorials/) video tutorials. I practically guarantee you'll be doing some nifty stuff within a week.
You might think it's an overly simple toy at first glance, but it's actually a better modeler than most of the pro packages in alot of respects.

I'm no pro... at all. but I was interested and wanted to get into Blender because of its included engine. From what I understand the blender UI is pretty counter intuitive to anything else on the market. So I guess if you learn in blender you'll have to relearn everything to use something else, and vice versa.
but... I still wanted to learn how to use it so I found this:
(

so far its pretty helpful, and has links to other tutorials and vid tutorials as well.

Unfortunately, my only creative skill is poetry, and I'm so goddamned lazy that I don't do poetry these days unless a class makes me. This will probably change after I graduate from college and do less forced writing.
I might post a few things from a "poem a day" class I took a bit over a year ago, we'll see. Warning: I specialize in doggerel.
Can't wait till I'm on a decent computer and can listen to ze tunes.
