Does anyone know if it's possible to create new "bound" item spells, or is it hard coded into the software? I'm asking simply because I thought it'd be better to summon glass or iron armor instead of daedric. Thanks to anyone who can help.

You could easily swap daedric around with iron or glass. Just go into the construction kit and swap the meshs of the daedric armour which ID ends with "BOUND" with the meshs of glass or iron armour. Though I doubt you know how to do this and right now I am making sushi so don't have time to explain. Oh and I am assuming you mean better in looks not in any other way.

Go to Morrowind Summit and do a search for "bound". There's several mods for new bound item spells there.
