So many of them look like LP album covers of yore. Even with modern elements and fonts, the style seems old school.

Yeah, it's funny how the titles and pictures can end up making sense together.
What I like about this is that, even if it's something you'd never listen to, it's still fun playing the the pieces and trying to come up with an image for it.

Making these is suspiciously easy...
The Wiki, a Jack the Ripper reference. The quote, Sherlock Holmes. Nice little coincidence there.

These things just click, it's eerie.
I was really surprised there isn't an actual band called "Rebel Youth".

http://home.comcast.net/~gearheadgeek/cover7.jpgYes, there really is a historical Chinese guy by the name of Dong Tuna. You cant make this stuff up.

http://home.comcast.net/~gearheadgeek/cover8.jpgFor those who have trouble reading the font or the wacky orientation, the band name is "China Merchants Holdings" and the title is "In a National Election". Combined with the image of a closed door, they add up to some nice social/political commentary, IMO.

http://home.comcast.net/~gearheadgeek/cover9.jpgThe band name is nice, but I don't particularly like how this came out.
Sometimes things just don't sync up well.

Well, given that it looks like an Emo album, it should. :)
