I've always wondered if one could use this kind of thing to make Garrett blow up some building or scaffold.
I think It would be more performance-wise to combine sprite emiters (smoke, explosion) with simple mesh emitter (stones, bricks, pieces of wood), as relying on physics on a fully fleshed out map (full of lights, scripts and AIs) might be a serious performance hog.

Yeah, but it'd look way cooler. :p Left aside that I haven't tried out to spawn things yet.

...While I already tried triggering physics on multiple objects in a finished FM - results are disastrous ;) Even touching a wall of bricks that were static meshes only, so just computing their collision against the player was a mess ;)

The framerate with 400 barrels slows down evidently...
What videocard you have, Beleg? please tell me your architecture (ram + proc)

AMD Athlon 64 Processor 4000+, 2,61 GHtz, 1 GB RAM; GeForce 7900 GS Ultima with less RAM, 256MB or something... But of course I'd never do it with this scale in an FM. A scaffold could work, however. Maybe.

Hum... with what machine have you registered then?
PS=I like your bricks, where you get them? Are they that ones of str8g8?

Is it discrateful that you cannot use much of them.

The bricks are some I made myself for my FM but I've replaced them with str8g8's by now. I surely still have the texture but I think it's not really outstanding.
