I finally and close to finishing this after 10 years of in and off/lost save games and had to restart playing.
I keep crashing in irradiated rooms. The tubes were fine. Some office with non essential items kept crashing the game so I skipped it.
I'm not at the body of the many and cannot proceed further due to a underwater radiated area that I can't get through before the crash happens. I need to get through this spot to continue the game.
I've tried going fast, god mode, etc. nothing works. I've even tried disabling mods.
Anyone else ever have this happen? I really want to finish this finally!
I don't think there's a noclip/ghost option to pass through the wall to help me either.

I never experienced such problem - may be some assets are missing?
You can upload your savegame and may be somebody will just pass that radiation area for you

Sounds like a corruption issue. Where did you get your copy of the game?

I'll try and upload the save game file. This is the 2nd weird issue I've had. After the first few times I can no longer use maint tools even though my skill is maxed. It's like the game forgot I had a maint skill along the way.

I think I've disabled the fist nerve cluster. but have to get through the radioactive underwater room to proceed. if I can get past all that business and enter the final areas for the i think the end. I'd be a happy man and move onto the giant backlog.
