Hi, all.
I couldn't get Thief Gold to run at all on my win7 64 machine, until I installed (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134733) this. Now it runs, but the game crashes if I try to start a new mission or go into the options menu.
I've been coming through the forums for the past hour, but nothing seems to work. Maybe I missed something. Any ideas?

any chance you are running a radeon hd card under xp? if you do,you will have to use catalyst 9.4 to get the game working.

Er... no. I'm from the future, where we no longer have to suffer under Windows XP or use old Radeon cards.
Running Windows 7 64 bit... which I said in the first post.

well daamit-my eyes must have slipped. what does the error message say? or is it just the general "program has stopped working blahblah" message?
try extracting (
http://jermi.dyndns.org/~jermi/stuff/Thief/ddfix_1.5.5.zip) this to your thief gold folder (note: you will have to edit ddfix.ini and enter you desired resolution-it must be identical to the one you have in cam.cfg).
