I recently reinstalled Thief 2 (might do a bit of streaming on justin.tv ^^) however, for some reason whenever I pull out my bow the game instantly stops. It's kind of a hard crash since I can alt-tab out either to close it.
My PC specs are: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual
Core Processor 4400+
2.30 GHz, 2GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Windows XP SP 2
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you done the rest? Like ddfix, widescreen and etc.?

I`ll bet you havent got vertical sync enabled, in the nvidia control penel..
