I can open the editor and place some brushes around. But when I try to load any of the OMs, it crashes with windows XP fatal error.
I still can open the "tutorial" missions.
Sometimes it crashes when I place a static mesh too.
And sometimes it crashes when I load my own mission.
Maybe the problem is with the meshes....
Thanks for any help.

EDIT:
After trying to load my mission, I checked the "T3Ed.log"
In the beginning there are these lines:

Could be a graphics card driver problem with something that unpredictable, but there's little help anyone can give without more details of your setup.

My video.... well.... it is onboard. "Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family". But it supports shader 1.4, and I can play the game at the highest quality.

Flecha, for what it's worth I installed T3 and the editor on my bf's machine last week on the same day that I bought him a graphics card to supplant his on-board video. Before the new card was fitted, the game would run (craply, but still) but the editor crashed. I didn't reinstall the editor, but it began working OK once the AGP graphics card was installed. Both the onboard graphics and the new card were nvidia.
I didn't keep a log sorry so I don't know whether the problem was related to yours, but I thought it might be useful to record that there is at least one other instance of the editor crashing on or shortly after loading which was fixed by upgrading graphics hardware, where the game itself would run beforehand.

Really thanks for the advice.
I can´t see other reason for the crash.
I am trying to convince my father to buy a GeForce 6600 GT - 128Mb. I asked at other foruns and looks like "she" :cheeky: is the best choice.
And it need to be PCI-Express to fit my motherboard.

Sheesh. Integrated video cards really do suck. :tsktsk:
The 6600 GT is a good choice; it's a really nice graphics card at an attractive price. Plus I got another copy of Thief 3 with mine. :cheeky: It installs the patched version of Thief 3 out-of-the-box and includes a copy of the editor as well, both of which are handy.

I didn't know the editor was shipping with anything - cool!

Thinking about it again, my experience doesn't necessarily mean the on-board video hardware was the problem. On the day I put the new AGP card in, I skipped the install disc and instead downloaded and installed the latest nvidia driver pack and the new drivers could have been the critical thing.
Flecha, I should think you've probably done this, but in case not, install the new drivers released last month for your chipset from (

Thanks for the link.
I installed the driver.
But got the same error.

The problem was the video.
I installed today a GeForce 6600 GT.
Now everything is working! And the game got many new efects!
