Couple of questions about plot branching... - by stoxy

Man, what's up with the boards?!
Anyway... for the 4th ending I was told you have to do everything 'right' in the game, and Paul must live.
That was in Scotland; when I moved back to Ireland, someone completly different said there was a 4th ending, involving Paul and he said you had to do a 'whole bunch of things' and it was really hard...
Next time I speak to him I'll ask where he heard it from. (Probably from his sister's boyfriend's aunty... :p )

You know, the game itself does trick you into thinking you had a choice...

I meant why do people lie about silly things like computer games. It serves no purpose. What harm could there possibly be in telling the guy that you type in open 99_endgame4. Why all the rubbish about requiring to do this and that inside the game?

Because it's funny.

But there are other ways an individual can achieve those... they don't have to resort to cheating themselves.

Sad but true.

Hm, question about the distress signal- does it make a difference which/how many of those dishes you rotate? I'm pretty sure I always rotate all once, but my failing memory says that one time through, I got a lot more stuff listed on the "you even reached the ___" list.
In the end, does it affect you at all? More points for more groups reached? And do you even know what direction you should rotate the dishes to?
Amorpheus on 20/6/2002 at 16:36
If I recall correctly you have to rotate all of them... so no, it doesn't make a difference.

Stoxy, don't listen to those guys. I just found the way to get the SUPER-SECRET A1-SUPAR MEGA ENDING!!
You can access the hidden ending through a secret door hidden in the same room as the sword-arm augmentation.

Yeah, HVD but I still can't find a way past those girders.
It seems u have to jump up and crouch on the first one, then somehow destroy your legs to squeeze by; but I can't find a way just to destroy my legs.... oh well...
