Could "T2X: Shadows of the Metal Age" be better than TG and T2? - by Sanctus Germanus

At least she doesn't use the sharp, bent side. But yes, the damage by this pinpoint-attack should be way more devastating than Garrett's fine blunt blackjack.
On the other hand, as the debriefing from mission 1 told us, Zaya doesn't screw around like goody-two-shoe Garrett. Just ask the zombies later on. :cheeky:

"major gamechanger" :D
I'm relieved, then. Guess it's not always easy to tell the difference.

Seriously, though, there is no way to safely knock someone out (outside of making them read James Joyce and even then the damage could be permanent). If someone loses consciousness from a blow to a head and doesn't wake up in half a minute or so, they either have severe brain damage or they aren't going to wake up at all.

I was merely pointing out that you are making baseless assertions.
Jesus man, you obviously dont even know who luthien is, because if you did, you would realise how silly it is to speak this way. And as it was pointed out, if you dont know, the forum archives are there to read up on. You clearly werent around, back in the trenches of TTLG we we all hashed out every last drop of Dark Project, NO! This is all classic heritage of this Forum, but no! Instead, its always this same kinda crap from you.
EDIT - I made this post halfway through reading the thread, I only now saw how it turned out. All apologies...

Frankly, I don't give a rat's ass what a bunch of nerds talked about on the forum more than a decade ago, even if I was one of those nerds. As I have pointed out, it has no relevance to this topic. You don't get to speak for all Thief players. You don't get to speak for all Thief fans. You don't even get to speak for all TTLG. And if you consider taking part in a forum discussion some kind of a badge of honor, that's... kind of sad, really.
Goldmoon Dawn on 6/10/2016 at 17:22
Gotcha.
You have no clue who luthien is.
Starker on 6/10/2016 at 18:05
It doesn't matter who Luthien is. Does speedrunning give an insight into this? No. Does finding exploits give an insight into this? No. Does being German give an insight into this? What do you think?
And yes, I don't know Luthien personally, but unless there is some data that proves otherwise, the claim that most players consider TMA to be an inferior game compared to TG is nothing more than a baseless assertion.
As always, you have no arguments but poor attempts at one-upmanship, based on an assumption that you know who I am. You look at my registration date and think that it's the day I signed up. You know nothing, Goldmoon Dawn.

Anyway, it's the best information anyone has, and if that's not good enough for you - fine, you're certainly entitled to your own opinion. Demanding hard proof for human opinions though makes discussion about these things virtually impossible (or any other topic). Running around calling people assholes (which is my personal opinion about what you do, so replying to this sentence is useless) doesn't help the discussion either.
(Personally, I'm certainly not interested in "veneration of saints" in this forum. I've only ever been interested in T1 and T2. Given the amount of time I've spent with it and the things I've done in the games, I feel confident that I understand pretty well what I'm talking about, though.)

No it's not nearly good enough. And I haven't really called anyone an asshole. But I could consider what you and Goldmoon Dawn did to be equally assholish if not more so. Claiming that I'm clueless and lazy and saying that I should educate myself, etc. You could just as easily have left me with my opinion and not escalated it.
And I didn't really demand proof as such. All I did was remark [citation needed], as you would see on Wikipedia. What I said was that without proof this is just a baseless assertion.
