Ok I give up, where is this bell that i'm supposed to ring? Been wandering around the city for hours searching for it. I am finished with all the other objectives, except for the optional dont kill anyone. I admit i cracked that poor guy's bandaged head open, just couldn't resist! Put him out of his misery, i say. A refreshing change from my job in real life.;)

I loved it. Everything in it looks great and they have put in a lott of humor.
The conversation from the bar-owner to his servant i found really hilarious.:cheeky:
The end scene from the debriefing movie has given me a great feeling. "welcome to the circle" hehe
The new use of the map was really great and helpfull. Yes i played it on All Hints.
Spiderkat,
the bell is in the place where it is marked on the map. It's a small doorbell hanging in front of the door.
I have looked for it as well. I was looking for a hugh bell you could ring, instead it was a small ringie thing;)

... of the full version....
ANXIETY! Am I going to faint before I manage to open Darkloader?
Will my computer die on me before I'm able to play through this mission?
AAAAAARGH 100%... this... is... it... My hands are shaking... Sudden Death Syndrome kicks in

I now played the mission in full. I had problem with making Paersall sick, but I finally figured it out. :-) I'm still playing around with the mission for fun, trying some different things, the mission rocks big time!!! I didn't figure out what to do with the coupon, but now as I read the spoiler above, I know.
Anyway, terriffic job! The motion movie in the middle of the game is superb! (how did you do it?)

Damnation... I dl-ed the mission, and now I can't play it. 'please insert thief2 game CD'. As if it isn't in the stupid drive! AARGH please help me...
I legitimately bought this game and played it without any problems for years and years, and now on this most special of occasions it just gives up on me? I tried both my CD drives and it just doesn't work...
Hints, anyone?
Dryhte2 (the taffer formerly known as Dryhte)
EDIT: by the way, it's been a while since I last played Thief 2, and now it appears i can't play the normal T2 missions either... what could be wrong? should I uninstall and reinstall, or is there another way around this? do you have to play T2 from the same _drive letter_ as you installed it from in the first place? (cause I had a lot more partitions back then...)
Help would be appreciated!

I guess the exitement got in the way of my brains ;)
just remapping darkinst.cfg was enough. Don't worry, I'll stop spamming this board and just start playing!
(BTW: is there nobody who wonders why the TTLG shop doesn't sell anything with COSAS logo's on it? I think I'd buy a nice black COSAS t-shirt.... but there aren't any!)

So... here's my little review.
a. architecture: stunning. Really, this mission is a beauty.
b. gameplay: quite hard to ghost his mission. I goofed up and ended up with some dead guards. Since I forgot to save and didn't feel like starting all over again, I just went on through the mission, and Lo and Behold: with several dead guards and 2 gass-arrowed guards, I still 'completed' the bonus objective: no knockouts ;)
Also, some guests DID see me (they even ran off screaming), and I still was able to finish the mission ;)
Anyway, loved the mission and I'm sure to play it seriously (that is, no cheating, sneaky, and no killing!)
But you guys sure have to fix the objectives thingy ;)

Awesome!
Beautiful to look at, great game feel and wonderful new stuff all over this mission.
I highly recommend at least trying to play this on NO HINTS the first time. You can sort stuff out on your own, even with the unfamiliar items. Things become evident as you play, if you use your noggin. Granted the ice pick objective stumped me for awhile, but I did puzzle it out eventually. Also, all the objectives are the same and you shouldn't have to fight the guards, so you don't need the extra life either.
I usually play missions on expert, but I especially wanted this one to last, so that's what I did.
My only gripe is that I couldn't rope arrow or climb up every building in this mission. They all looked SO inviting.
Got all objectives, all secrets and all except for 10 loot. Even figured out what to do with the the coupon. Now where is that pesky little dime?
Many Thanks to the ladies and gents at CoSaS, you did a SUPERB job!
MORE PLEASE...
