The Mission that follows GatI is MX, (Mission X) which is currently being worked on by the CoSaS team.

GatI is related in spirit to Gathering at the Bar, one of the earliest Thief 1 missions.

Hmmmm. Searched through but can't figure out a solution yet. Using XP and 99% of the FM's I've played run fine. When I start to play CoSaS I get the opening movie to play perfectly, then the objectives screen comes up fine (playing all hints). When I click on 'continue' the screen goes black for a second or two then dumps me back into Darkloader. I am using latest versions of both Darkloader and Thief 2 patched.
I have a P4 w/512mb ram and have deleted a bunch of files from my FM directory as well as all my system caches. Open to all suggestions as this FM looks fantastic.

Went to Komag's site and downloaded the latest scripts for T2. Bingo!! it works fine now. Can't wait too play this one.... :cheeky: :cheeky:

The vibe I have been getting is that there's a lynch mob ready to have me drawn and quarterd for there being such a huge delay between GatI and the second mission. :erm:
I'm posting this in this thread, because it's for the eyes of people who are really interested in what's going on. I don't want to be mister hype and post some statement on The Circle or the CoSaS Project site. Just something to sooth the nerves of the people who are getting grumpy over the wait.
Right now, a few things need to happen before the mission is released.
- The placeholder voice audio replaced by lines recorded by the actors.
- The maps are drawn, but the automaps need to be created.
- Optional and Bonus objectives implimented.
- Playtest, playbalance, playtest some more.
- Briefing and Debriefing finished.
Trust me, work gets done on the mission every day. If I had two brains and a clone or two, we could work faster... but the only person on the team right now with two brains is Anarchic Fox.... and I think that our object creation squad has a few clones amongst them, based on how much they get done so quickly. :cheeky:

Actually, losing track of the time does help. I've just finished working on something for 3 hours straight. I made a major breakthrough, and looked at the clock, and I'm like "6:00! I thought it was closer to 4:00"

Shame on you, Digi. The bonus objectives and all but one of the optional objectives have been done for a long time (though maybe not in their final form...). Gameplay refinement and balancing are what I worry most about now.

i knew i was in for a monster treat with that intro, then i see i have many many many ways into the place (i LOVE that! i get to make multiple "soft probes" to get the lay of the land! also to find all the gear i can before my pentration goes from soft probe to hard infiltration! ;)), and then i get an early lol moment when:
i find generator room, shut them down, rope up thru broken floor into the room above, open the door to hallway, mis-time and get seen by guard, fade back into room, drop down thru hole, guard shouts and races down to generator room, i of course have already backtracked, AND WENT BACK UP ROPE BACK INTO THE ROOM!
so there i am, just laughing my guts out at the poor ridiculous guard down there!!! :ebil: :laff: :thumb:
