Hi guys, need a little help here.
Just got back into Arx; it had never really gripped me before, but with the current dearth of decent RPGs, I thought that now would be a great time to try it again.
Unfortunately, both of my quicksaves have become corrupt, and my last hard save was waaaaaaay back.
The hard save was back when I was talking to the goblin king after spiking his pies, and my quicksaves are as I'm just about to get the Helm of Poxsellis.
Is there a way of recovering these quicksaves?
When I try to load them, they get to the end, then Arx crashes.
I've tried reinstalling Arx, but no joy. The hard save loads fine :(
I'd hate to go back to that point, or even worse, start over again, as I've really been enjoying the game :(

Unfortunately, I doubt that there is anything that can be done about corrupt gamesaves. It's always a good idea to save fairly frequently with RPGs and not just quick saves.

Yeah, I bit the bullet and went back to the earlier save and have now just about caught up to where I was before.
I've started saving in a new slot whenever I change level.
PS: Sorry 'bout the spoilers Shadowcat :o
