Corpses. - by Sorskogen

You know when you stumble across some corpses in some tombs etcetc. and it says their name when you go to loot them? Has that struck anyone else as really strange?? How the hell do you know their names? Do they have it sewn in their clothes or something? I can see why all the characters you don't even go and speak to will have names floating above their heads because you may be (just about concievably) shouting at them "Ooh, what's your name what's your name?" and they may answer you. But the corpses? It's really disconcerting. Especially when there are some that are just "dead hero" or "dead adventurer". Then you wonder if the named corpses were meant to be important, which they can't be. So. Yes. Any thoughts?

I always understood that the named corpses were usually part of some quest (If you have to recover X's signet ring, it's very helpful if you can distinguish X's remains, especially in tombs with lots of dead people around)
I do agree that it's strange the way you know everybody's name, though. I thought they handled that well in Deus Ex, where when you first saw someone it only had a description (Bodyguard or Chinese Woman or Distinguished Gentleman or whatever) and you didn't see their name until after you had spoken. It's necessary to see the names in a game like Morrowind, though.

Well i saw some corpses too, and they have there name tagged on or stickers lol. Yeah its weird too but how you gonna identify them when someone is looking for specific person or thing. Making more faces would take alot of work.
Cant go look for person or things becuz they wear certain colors or shapes, it can be switch around like those cocky thieves. And it would be harder to get around this part while role-playing. Would be interesting tho.
