Spoiler... Of course.
When you get Coprus Disease, a lot of your stats go down... but two stats that are very important to me go up. Do these affects remain after you take the corprus cure, or does everything return to normal? I'm on my way to get the cure now, so hurry ;)
Wait... I got the answer... It's yes... You wouldn't consider that cheating, would you?

How did you manage to contract corpus? I never did. Is it a mission or?

*spoiler*
it's in the main quest in morowind
*bigger spoiler*
you get it automatically while doing a quest to a sixth-house base.

What I did was .... *potential spoiler* get my strength up to about 200 (it's around there with all my stat modifying rings. Actually it could have gone higher, but I was too lazy to enchant another ring and amulet.) Now I can focus on resistances (I'm 100% resistant to Frost (nord power), 100% resistant to Fire (dragonbone cuirass), 100% resistant to all diseases, and then some minor resistances to poison, paralyzation, etc.
Poison is probably the most deadly to me so that'll be next. Then maybe a 100% reflect ring, eh? Or constant effect shield... hmm... Since my strength was already that high, it can hardly be cheating, right? ... *coughs* Right?! If I get bored I'll just set my strength back to 100 with the console :cheeky:

what do you mean by cheating?
Xenomorph on 7/5/2003 at 14:14
I always found paralization to be the most annoying of spells.
sappe on 7/5/2003 at 14:45
reflect:eek:

It's something that I plan to try next time I do the main quest. I suppose it is cheating slightly, since in real life nobody in their right mind would do it, but so what. It's just a game :cheeky:
Didn't need those console cheats afterall didja?;)
RyushiBlade on 7/5/2003 at 20:20
Heh... Yeah, I'll probably resist poison and paralyzation. I'll enchant anything else I have to reflect.
sappe on 8/5/2003 at 06:44
can you get the spell resist normal weapons somewhere in-game?
