I've actually come across a resist Corprus spell. I'm not sure where, so don't ask. But I wondered what would happen if you cast it before fighting Dagoth Gares? It probably wouldn't work, but it kind of defeats the entire purpose of the spell, doesn't it?

The Corprus script uses AddSpell, thus no casting effect. Even if you have Immunity to Corprus, the spell still takes effect.

so what happens if you are allready immune to corprus from getting cured before? You are then immune AND affected? Would you be able to get another cure potion?

The Corprus script is only activated after you kill Dagoth Gares. You cannot contract Corprus in any other way.

Well, if Corprus disease can only be contracted from Dagoth Gares, and Gares' Corprus spell takes effect regardless of whether you have a "Resist Corprus" spell active, doesn't it beg the question of why Resist Corprus Disease spells are sold at all?
