I just wanted to know if this happened to anyone else. It happened to both my second game and a friend's, but not my first game. When I was cured of corprus I still retained my massive strength and endurance. Not a bad bug, but still strange one since it seems to happen on some games but not others. Happen to anyone else??

I think that's supposed to happen... I kept my strength. I got it up to 200 but quit cuz I didn't want to be too strong. Anyway, it's been lowered by random attacks from mages and what not, so now I'm having to wear an enchanted shirt, belt and pair of pants to stay at 200. (... 220 actually, heh. Firsts of Randagulf)

Yeah, thats normal. Think of it, if you got the disease and got a lot of strength and muscle, when you get cured your muscles wouldn't all of a sudden dissapear.

It would be cool if your face changed to a corprusstalker's face. Then changed back once you got cured

On a related subject, has anyone ever contracted Corpus by exposure to the monsters? as opposed to getting it from dargoth gares?<sp?> if not, why is there a resist corpus spell effect if you can only get it from gares via a scripted event that gives you corpus resistance or no resistance........:weird:

Is it actually possible to buy a spell with the Resist Corprus Disease magic effect? I've seen it in the CS, but never encountered it sold by a spell-vendor in-game.

Funny, I hadn't thought of that before......lots of people warn you about corprus, but you only seem to actually catch it as part of the main quest, regardless of how much you're exposed to it.
If you did catch it before the encounter with Gares, I wonder would it mess up the main quest....after all, there's only one way to get cured, and if you had to go to Mr Fyr early it could really screw things up.
