Officially, it's the 2nd stand-alone addon, SoC is the original game. STALKER

Haven't you finished SoC? ;) The whole last map of SoC and optional bonus map are set at and inside CPP buildings. As for CoP, no, you don't visit CPP in it, and I don't remeber seeing it in the distance.
PS: BTW, GSC started to publish paper magazine called STALKER.

No, I couldn't finish SoC: the game kept crashing at the point where I had to run the gauntlet of about a gazillion different enemies to make it through to the Sarcophagus. No matter what I tried to do (reloading from a previous save, uninstalling/re-installing the game) it still crashed at the same point
every time (where the game has just placed you outside the stadium area and you have to dodge military and Monolith alike to make it thru the gate to the Sarcophagus: I always make it to the two crashed vehicles a short distance from the start-point of that area and then the game crashes). I was sooooo frustrated at having gotten that far only to realize there was no way I could finish the game! :mad: At that point, after some deliberation (do I play Clear Skies or go straight to CoP?), I decided to play CoP.
I had no idea CoP was considered a stand-alone addon. Also, I wasn't aware that there's a Stalker 2 in the making. I did a search, but didn't find much info on it at all. The Stalker magazine looks interesting, unfortunately I don't speak/read Russian. (But I can still look at the pictures, right? ;) )

P.S. Ran across this site; very interesting! (big-scale airsoft cosplay - S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Reality - took place in Kiev vicinity)
