You totally didn't type TMNT from memory, liarpants.
That's no mean feat, I too remember the entirety of the intro music to Turtles - more like who the fuck can't? It's an awesome tune.
I can even say definitively how many times they say "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" before "Heroes in a half shell - Turtle Power!" and launching into the verses.
3 times, bitches! That show made no sense though, that fucking hulking dude with an alien brain krang or whatever in his stomach, wtf.

We recently bought the complete Thundercats series.
Watching it now I can't believe how preachy that show was. I mean it's cool and all but the extreme close up "sharing is important kids" messaging was driven home with a mallet.
And can I just say it's no wonder kids today are evil little fucks, they've been constantly indoctrinated with consumerism instead of morals in their entertainment.

Hang on, hang on. They used to sing "Teenage Mutant
Hero Turtles" here, not Ninja Turtles. What kind of revisionist shit is this?

In an ironic role reversal, this was overeager British censorship:
Quote Posted by Wikipedo
Upon TMNT's first arrival in the United Kingdom, the name was changed to "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" (or TMHT, for short), since local censorship policies deemed the word ninja to have excessively violent connotations for a children's program. Consequently, everything related to the Turtles had to be renamed before being released in the UK. The lyrics were also changed, such as changing "Splinter taught them to be ninja teens" to "Splinter taught them to be fighting teens."

Yeah, that's true but I've been exposed to the original so many times that the UK chopped version has been submerged, also revisionist bullshit will always be favoured over bowdlerising fuckwittery.
Oh, beaten to tha punch!!

I always thought the lyric was "trained them to be ninja TEAM" hahah
Paz on 23/10/2006 at 11:40
And I always thought it was because the cartoon version couldn't afford the image rights, so they said "haha, we'll make them HERO turtles - can't touch us!"
Although on reflection that's just stupid and would have failed completely, owing to their wholesale theft of every other aspect of the Turtles brand.
Shug on 23/10/2006 at 11:50
How is replacing the lyrics with "fighting team" as opposed to "ninja team" less violent?
PigLick on 23/10/2006 at 12:07
ninjas like anal sex, fighters dont, remember?
