Did the contractors know the stuff was there to begin with?Was there any communication as to where the old bricks would go?Was the stuff in a likely place that bricks might be thrown?Sounds like there was a lack of communication before the job began.You have some responsibility to as far as that goes.

If you used the search button or read the thread you'd know the answer to your question 1, 2 and 3, but no, don't bother doing that. Just join the pack of attacking dogs by asking annoying questions already answered.
The answer is that he told me he'd be throwing them off the north side. The chair was on the west side. He ended up throwing them off the north and the west and there were two guys standing on the ground on the west side. Both of them just stood there watching without saying a word to the boss while he rained bricks down on my stuff.
The boss and crew showed up at least an hour earlier than they said they would 7:30AM and immediately went up on the roof and started throwing things down. To get on their ladders they had to walk right past my stuff on the ground so there was no miscommunication. I guess they just didn't want to bother moving the stuff. I guess the guys on the ground were too busy standing there to move things.
I have a question too. Why are you so annoyed? You must have known by page two that these guys were flaming and that I was responding. Just go read some other thread if that irritates you. Either that or get on the right side.

I come here to help with fms. I'm a Thief, Deus Ex, Morrowind and System Shock fan. Why shouldn't I expect I can come into the off topic forum and be treated with some decency? That's for the attackers and the admins to answer.
No. I did not come seeking advice. I came to report events, to tell a story from real life as so many others do.

Yea. I have have given it some thought. The room is dominated by jerks who go unmoderated. There isn't anything wrong or uncivil in my original post. It isn't inappropriate for this forum. The responses have been vile and inappropriate and excessive and no one has done a thing. Here's the thing po. The hostile reactions didn't come from your original post. The responses you got to the first post were far from vile, inappropriate and excessive; they were understanding, friendly and gave advice appropriate to the situation.
The hostility and abuse came from the revelations in all your subsequent posts: not just about how you handled the situation but how you perceived the situation, how you perceived the great many situations like it that you've found yourself in in the past (boy you do seem to bump into a lot of conniving adversarial cunts in your life don't you?), and your outlook on the human race in general. Not to mention happy amusement at your reaction to being taken to task over all these things.
The hostile, mocking and fairly uniform response to your personality problems doesn't make sense to you because you're not capable of enough introspection to realise how deep and glaring those personality problems are.
You can rationalise widespread dislike of you until the cows come home but the simple fact is that people hate you and make fun of you because you're a manifest asshole. Not because it's what everybody else is doing, but

Ignatios needs to first ask the question or tell me what the question is because I have already answered many questions. I don't know what he's talking about.
And you are making assumptions. You assume that I am an asshole that brings these things upon himself. It just doesn't occur to you that the people I run into might be nastier than the people you run into. Am I being rude to you after you've in effect told me I'm an asshole who deserves to be treated like shit. No. I'm being pretty nice to you considering your rude remarks.
People further assume I've come in here for sympathy. Well, I'd have liked to hear some similar stories, but I can see why they don't want to talk about them if everyone is going to assume that they are assholes who deserve what they get.
About my reaction: I just read the few expected responses like anyone else would. I then started getting people calling me a pussy in case you didn't notice, which is a major insult in some parts of the world. Furthermore, I was already aggravated by the contractor quite obviously.
What do people like yourself expect? Flowers? Come on you cunts. I'm just saying like so many other people do that "hey, here's a pisser of a thing." and these annoyances have to come in and call me a pussy and then go on and on with unwanted advice that doesn't work and more insults. You truly are a special bunch. It's not every forum where I'll be treated like this but there are plenty.
I repeat, no one had any good reason to start on me.
