Po, all you have been doing throughout most of this thread is talking about (and displaying) your inability to deal with people. Whenever someone tried to tell you something, you would quickly take up a "no you are an idiot" type of attitude and proceed to complain about how you are being treated. In short, you have been acting as if you are better than everyone else. It's as if the only reason you started this thread is to show how much smarter you are.

Of course all you hear are horror stories. Anyway, I act as a contractor sometimes, and all I've got to say is that there are just as many, if not more, rude and ill-informed customers out there as there are incompetent contractors.

Calling someone a pussy is not offering advice. If you look in the beginning, you'll see a lot of people jumping in the thread just to be irritating. I hope this doesn't come off with me sounding superior to you, but I've been here and I know how shit a lot of those people have been treating me for no reason.
I also "explained" why some of the half assed advice was not useful. Much of that advice was also full of insults, condescension and maddeningly worthless "you're the only one in the world with this problem" talk.
I know the broken arm on the chair isn't "horror". That's why I didn't go nuts and confront the guy in mid job and get into firing or fighting. The job is complete and satisfactory. I'm just pointing out how these contractors are careless in the way they treat your property and how arrogant they are in covering up their crimes and not even being sorry when they are exposed.
I'm proud of my performance in this thread.
