Real life has been a bit inconvenient for me lately, so I couldn't finish mine. Sorry.

Well, this seems to have worked out well.
(insert tumbleweed and whistling wind noises as you feel appropriate)
At least we have Komag's competition soon - though I'm not entering that one (want to work on non-thief projects for a little while).
I expect some other people to actually release something for that one though!

I'm hoping to have my current mission finished up soon and then put something together for Hallowe'en, assuming things clear up. I want to finish one mission before starting another, so I probably won't be able to enter Komag's contest either.

Okay, the slightly less put out version of the above post:
How many people were working on things they just couldn't finish in time?
I know it's not my competition, but maybe a little more time for entries could be arranged?

I had to shot my project down four weeks ago. It only had those five rooms and a hallway, so there was no way I could have finished it. I still have no idea how to do objectives or any other "hard" stuff.

A good idea, but probably impractical now that Komag's Contest 6 is getting under way. I suspect that we will see many people's unfinished entries (including mine!) released as normal (i.e. not for a contest) FMs over the next few months.

It would still be interesting to know how many people actually had a mission in the works. I hope the lack of (potential) entries was just a matter of time and does not reflect the overall acceptance of the editor...

I don't believe "acceptance" is the issue - T3ed has proved a little tricky to learn. Perhaps people have overextended themselves?
rujuro on 19/7/2005 at 02:14
Definitely true in my case, overextension that is. Although I'm not aiming for any contests, just want to get a really fantastic mission made, doesn't matter to me how long it takes (a long time, I'm pretty sure).

I was going to enter, but then completely ran out of time, and didn't even end up starting a proper mission. Sorry. :erg:
