Do you think its a problem that "too big to fail" even exists? Isn't it a bit of a problem when we are so economically dependent on the success of these big banks that even one failing could (hypothetically) destroy the entire economy?
Or is that just the inevitable result of a debt-based economy?

Oh, also, not every conservative is as dumb (or as poor at debate) as he is. Just most of them. The minority who actually know what the fuck they're talking about and can back up their arguments without resorting to insults is very small and if there's any here, they're certainly smart enough not to fucking post in this thread.

I have only ever lived in Texas a total of 6 months in my entire life. Currently I reside in Florida (not where I'm from either)

dethtoll: I certainly wouldn't consider rational conservatives a minority in their party, but for whatever reason they've largely decided to remain silent and let Rush Limbaugh steer the ship. Which is sad, as the the conservative side of the debate--typically valuable for balance--has descended into melodramatic proclamations of ignorance.
The sad thing is this button-pushing idiocy is proving to be pretty effective at the moment. We all know Thief13x to be not exactly the brightest bulb in the box (to put it charitably) so it isn't all that surprising that he buys into it this horseshit despite the fact it works directly against his best interests. What is truly depressing is such idiocy has spread beyond the bottom feeders and gained a foothold among a large percentage of the population.
