Is it possible to enchant something, say a dagger, with a "bound longsword" spell that is always active. i.e. whenever you equip the enchanted dagger you start using the bound longsword, and the longsword doesn't go away until you remove the dagger?

I've enchanted a ring with bound longbow and cuirass. When I put the ring on both become active. Then I can equip/unequip them whenever i want as long as a keep the ring on. It's a nice way to lighten the load if you like to fight with multiple weapons. I've found that I can even DROP the bound cuirass...strange.;)

Yes, they definitely fixed that with the PC version patch..hehe, I had stumbled across that ability by accident when I first played, and now I have bound items in my inventory:weird:
But, I agree with the idea that you should enchant rings/amulets (maybe clothes too?) with the "bound" item spells. makes life much easier. But if you have a dagger with a "bound longsword" spell as a constant effect, I believe that logic would dictate that if you equipped the dagger, the spell would activate, forcing the dagger to slip on into your inventory so that you could wield the bound longsword. Once the dagger is shifted to your inventory, it would cancel the permanant effect of the spell, making your longsword disappear.
Please tell me if I'm wrong in my thinking on this, as it is an interesting enchantment idea. :thumb:
