Constantine/ Joffrey Spaulding pics- odd coincidence?

Today I tried on a whim (since I'm replaying the Thief series again!) to try and find what the voice actor Joffrey Spaulding who played Constantine and a few minor characters) actually looked like. I type in his name in Google and here's two results I found

However that bishop is *not* Joffrey Spaulding, just a result that came up.

I think the similarity is a little unsettling...:weird:

I still have no idea what Joffrey Spaulding actually looks like. Cool name though! My name is.....Joffrey....

I think I finally found out what he looks like. His entry at IMDB is brief but I found this trailer for Last Night AT Eddies

I suppose he's the pizza guy with the moustache. How far from The Trickster can you get? :laff:But listening to him I can sort of hear his Thief voice in their somewhere.

I thought I remember jtr posting a picture of him once on the forums a while back, but I couldn't find it by searching. For those who don't know, he passed away a few years back (Joffrey Spaulding, not jtr).

Edit: looks like the same guy in this trailer too, right around the 0:41 mark, sitting at the desk in the cop uniform ("Lt. Burns").

There is an uncanny similarity. Although the closer model seems to be him:

Yes, that bit in Serial Intentions he sounds a lot more like Constantine!

Sorry to hear of his passing. I always liked his gravelly voiced delivery in Thief. I'm surprised he didn't become more widely known an actor after Thief.

That cutscene when he reveals himself as The Trickster scared the beejeesuz out of me when I first saw it.:sweat:

Melan- I didn't know about the Third Man influence until I listened to the Looking Glass podcasts this week. t was funny to hear Dan Thron describe himslef as the biggest movie nerd ever.

bangersnmash: It is a great movie. If you like Thief, there is a very good probability you will like it as well.

And yeah, the cutscene scared me as well. So much so that when the next mission started, and I started hearing those noises from the tunnels, I just quit the game for the night with a big NOPE. :p
