Hi all.
I'm playing with a Nord Warrior and would like to enchant a few things with a "constant" effect. How? I have a few dif soul gems. Grand and lower. A grand with a Golden Saint soul in it. Is that too low lvl a kill to get a constant effect from? So far they are the highest priced after "traping" them.

On the enchanting screen, look on the lower-left corner and you'll see. As to how, unless you have a high enchanting skill you'd be best served by going to and paying an enchanter (look in a Mages' guild) to do it for you. Per the manual, you'll still have to know (as in "be able to cast") the spell effects you want to have placed upon it, and better quality jewelery/armor/weapons/etc. can hold more enchantment than lower-quality ones.
[edit: cleared up some verbiage]

I'm no expert on this stuff but I think a Golden Saint (80K in value) soul should do the trick for constant effect enchantments.
*edit* Simultaneous post (more or less).

for the third time, but im totally sure, a golden saint, ascended sleeper or vivev in grand soul gems or azuras star (just azuras for vivec) will allow constant effect enchantment

Thx. Got it. Never noticed that there was a change in the lower left corner. AND a golden saint does have a constant effect.
Now, to capture some more Golden Saints!

Anyone got a good area to get golden soul gems (grand) from?
I stole one with a winged twilight in belmora, and bought an empty one from somewhere (I reckon probably in vivec), but I can't find any more than that.

Random loot in smuggler caves if you're high enough level. They're more common than common soul gems...
