I haven't touched this game in months, but I searched through the threads and didn't see anything about these topics:
Constant Effect Summoning Enchantments: Ever make a constant effect summoning item? As long as you're wearing the item the summoned creature will tag along until it's killed in combat, then you can just re-equip the item and it'll come back, good as new. The most ridiculous constant effect summoning item I made was a Storm Atronach-summoning Daedric tower shield (I didn't use any mods or cheats).
Constant Effect Elemental Shields: I tried making these but they didn't work. The icon for fire/frost/shock shield would appear in the corner but the shield didn't form around my character. I didn't need the protection, I just really thought the shock shield looked cool.
Multiple Summon Spells: Go to a spellmaker and make a bunch of "summon skeleton" spells with different names like "Skeleton 1", "Skeleton 2", etc. This way you can summon an army of skeletons or other small creatures to aid you, limited only by your magicka reserve (and if you're good at alchemy, that's almost infinite).
Uber Spells: When frustrated I liked to buy a full damage/radius spell with frost, fire, poison, shock, and health draining elements, down a load of fortify magicka and fortify intelligence potions, and take on cities with large populations. Not only do the spells level crowds at a time, they also look and sound incredibly cool as they streak towards their targets and detonate in monstrous multicolored explosions.:D

Lol. I've never tried making a constant effect summoning. I'll have to try that one out next. :D

To make constant effect items you will need...
A grand Soul Gem
An Item with a high enchantment (expensive ring)
You will need to capture either a "GOLDEN SAINT" or an "ACENDED SLEEPER".....
If you attemp to pay for the enchantment, you will need at least 20thousand septims. I spent 40thousand on a constant effect levetation shield i have created...

I want to find an item that has enough enchantment points to hold a constant-effect summoning of a Golden Saint. It would be really great to have my own Golden Saint to follow me around and watch my back! Haven't had any luck so far. I managed to get a temporary effect with an ebony staff, but decided it was too heavy to be worthwhile.
Constant effects are the best though...I have a shield that constantly restores my health by one point. It doesn't sound like much, but it really saves me on health potions and magicka. I also had an exquisite shirt enchanted with bound cuirass and bow. To fix them, I just need to take my shirt off and put it back on. Got some pants with bound dagger and longsword too. Really helps me travel light.

I tried something once but it didn't work out, I tried casting a poison attack on myself as a constant effect but I gave it a large radius in the hopes that it would radiate out from me. Too bad theroy didn't work out in practice, I could have become the Toxic Argonian. :cheeky: I do want to try a constant effect Daedroth for my Argonian though, the flame atronarch is nice but he can sometimes end up fragging his master, less chance of that happening with a Daedroth.
And Sneeksie, could you please tell me where you found that Bound Cuirass spell? I've been looking for one all over.

It's hard to remember now, but I think I bought it from the Altmer lady in the Balmora Mages Guild. I hope I'm remembering correctly. I'm pretty sure it was one of the Guild Mages though. Sorry, I can't be more definite.
Keep in mind that bound armor is nice in that it's weightless and easy to fix, but it isn't as strong as "real" armor. And I've never found anyone with a Bound Greaves spell.
[edit] I just looked it up at (

You can get bound cuirass from Nelso Salenim in Sadrith Mora or Solea Nuccusius at Fort Moonmoth. I don't even remember these people, but I must have bought it from one of them.

Too bad that didn't work. :(

But where do you get the Grand Soul gems from? I can't find any.
I've made some nice enchanted weapons but I'm out to make some serious Constant Effect clothes. Custom made kit is so nice. I find the existing ones quiet rubbish and I need to make stream-lined (ie with only the efects I want) stuff.
And what's the best Blunt weapon you can get? Single and double handed? And when I say best I mean high damage, lots of enchnting space, not pre-existing enchants.
Is there a glass or Deadric blunt weapon?

Grand soul gems are quite often found in crates and boxes in caves and dungeons. But you could just go and get Azura's Star, which is reusable, and will hold the soul of Vivec, should you decide to kill him. Go to Azura's shrine (SE corner of map) and get the quest.
There are definitely Daedric blunt weapons- I've seen a warhammer, a staff and a mace, and I think even a club, which was useless! I'm afraid I cannot remember where these things are- maybe there is a list posted somewhere. I'm pretty sure some crop up randomly on Dremora and Golden Saints lurking around Daedric ruins. Ebony stuff also has high enchant points, btw.

I there nowhere to buy Grand Soul Gems?
I know about Azura's star but I'd rather get there when I get there. I feel that going now for this purpose is cheating a little as in-game I don't know where it is.
I'm only level 37. Might that account for the lack of Grand gems? I never find them in crates and I'm loath to go dungeon hacking as I've got my own missions and I don't want to clear something that I may be asked to later.
