Nintendo is extremely, uhhh ... "uptight," I guess you'd say, when it comes to releasing any information whatsoever about anything. The only reason I can mention it at all is because Nintendo has already announced that some sort of sequel to Metroid Prime is in the works and will be released at some unspecified point in the future.
So probably the only thing I can safely say is that yes, I'm working on it :cheeky:
