conspiricy afoot. - by daveodeth

The trouble with conspiracies is that, by their very nature, no-one except those actually in it have the first idea what the truth is. Even they probably don't know what's really happened.
It was both interesting and lifting, however, to go back and reread the announcements by (
http://www.ttlg.com/showarchive.asp?month=12&year=2002) Lula Lamer and (
http://www.ttlg.com/showarchive.asp?month=11&year=2002) Emil Pagliarulo that they were leaving T3 development at ISA. Ok, they were possibly being oh-so-professionally courteous about their colleagues, but they did sound genuinely positive to me. That was a year ago, of course.

The Truth Is Out There. I know, I've seen it..the same guy that told me about the water in Thief III also told me about this.
Seriously, as interesting as it is I doubt it leads to all that much. All it says to me is that the Ion Storm forums have become the new meeting grounds Obsessive/Compulsives Anonymous.

Those forums are like a bad soap opera. I know I shouldn't read them... I know that in doing so I'm shattering my faith in human nature... I know that I'll leave with a higher blood pressure... but I just can't help myself! They're so... compelling.
And that's too many ...s by far

Yes, I'm currently at Retro Studios in Austin (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nintendo Company, Ltd.), where I'm helping develop the AI for the sequel to Metroid Prime.

Thanks,
twisty; I really appreciate the sentiment.

Hey EB, I didn't realise you'd left. I was actually reading all the negative comments about the AI and thinking "poor old Egg Boy, he was one of the few who were happy to pop in here occasionally and say hello...".
So by the time you'd left, had you finished the swimming AI routines? :ebil:
