Hi, first I'd like to say that I don't like to cheat on crpg games because it ruins them. But, in Morrowind you can use the in-game console to turn on fly mode, I've been wanting to fly over morrowind to check out the view ya know. Well, my console either doesn't work or I'm doing something wrong. I know the code for flying is setflying 1 or something like that (I have it written down). When I type it in the console it turns blue and I don't get any error messages but nothing happens. Can anyone explain this?

Are you typing - player-> first. In other words use the following:
player->setflying 1

I've tried it that way but it just doesn't happen. Some of the other codes like fixme work but flying and superjump just don't work.

I also cannot use the console except for the fixme command. What are we doing wrong?

Has anyone been able to get the console to work besides the fixme command?

yes
player-> setspeed 300
that's worked for me.

I use the console for training and debugging all the time... here is one command that I know works... but you shouldn't try...
placeatpc "centurion_steam" 20,20,1
the result is not very fun or healthy

I use the console command "tvm" (toggle vanity mode) all the time to check myself out :cheeky: I also used it to join house Redoran after accidentally joining Hlaalu (player->pcjoinfaction redoran). That's about it. SetFlying should definitely be entered as "player->SetFlying 1". Question: are you sure you aren't flying? It doesn't change anything obvious on the screen, but you should be able to fly upwards by looking up and pressing W (move forward). I know it confused me the first time I tried a levitate spell. I thought you would go up by pressing the jump key.
