I have a very slow connection to the internet, there is no way to speed it up due to living in a crap area in england that will be the last place to get any internet speed up any time soon, last week I had no problems, but since the upgrading of the forum I keep getting this error
IMG SRC="http://www.ttlg.
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in c:\www\forums\ubb\cache-QK5SB5G7\ubb_files\forum_page\Forum17\forum17-30.cgi on line 889
It takes on adverage 3 to 4 minutes for a page to load on my computer, I dont have cable access, or any of the faster connections.

Surf with the cached images option: Alt+p -> Multimedia -> Images -> (*) only cached images
Then when you need images, right click on them and choose "display image" from the popup menu. You can also use the g key or the blue rectangular shortcut icon next to the URL field to toggle between the three modes for all images on the current page.
The rationale is to prevent the ad image from displaying. It doesn't get loaded in the first place, so the connection to the cybereps adserver cannot time out. Note that you can still click the link if you feel inclined to contribute to TTLG's ad income.
