Thanks David. :) Yes, I caught that one too. Any ideas about the others?

Logs don't seem to indicate any others have occurred.

I must admit that I have been having the same problem with TTLG for about the last 2 weeks or so (maybe even 3 weeks). I frequently get a "page can't be displayed" or page time outs when going to either the front page or the main forums page. The problem usually goes away after 5-15 minutes. During this time however I have been able to browse other sites without issue.
I tried this in both Firefox 2 and IE7 but the problem remains. It happened again today around 30 minutes ago.

And again...between 18:40-18:45 (Western Australian time) I got the following error:
"Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at www.ttlg.com."

Well I see I'm not alone - however, it's possible I've found the cause for at least some of my problem and I think it's down to a combination of factors including TTLG being busy.
First reason. We had a fire recently and after the electric cables were replaced, I found the old router didn't work and installed a newer model. In addition, there's a broadband connection sitting in the dial-up bit. It was there for some years although I've no idea how it got there - assume someone installed it sometime. It didn't cause me any problems. However, after the fire and the new router I occasionally got connection windows popping up - once every few days, nothing major - I just cancelled.
Secondly my pc was networked recently to 2 other pcs and I think it took exception to it's loss of privacy. Connection windows started popping up several times a day.
I was finding the same as baeuchlein in that towards the end of last week I had to continually resubmit data to access TTLG - mostly in the late afternoon/early evening, including posting the thread. Although a couple of sites were difficult - others were not a problem at all.
Started getting some error codes so I ran every scan I can think and don't think there's a dialler lurking but I'm still trying things. Other people don't seem to be as fussy as I am about protection and it's possible something got in that way.
I've now removed all dial-up connections and I've taken the pc off the network. I've been away for a couple of days but this evening, although it's too soon to tell, TTLG has been behaving beautifully.
It could of course have just been my pc telling me I was spending too much time here! But I'll see how things go over the next few days. And keep checking through Microsoft's helpful list of things to try.

Intermittantly I have had similar issues - the forums won't load for five, ten, fifteen minutes, but the rest of the web is fine.

I have trouble connecting now and then, too. I always assumed it was my router, because restarting the router would fix it.
More correctly, I always thought that TTLG had decided it didn't want anything to do with my IP address any more, so I needed to restart the router to get a new one. I suspected this because I could connect using a proxy server, but not without one. And TTLG was not down, as other people I asked could connect normally.

It is sounding more and more like a DNS issue as the logs don't show the server being down. We do have a... unique DNS arrangement that I have never been happy with, however it is out of my control.
I shall enquire as it getting it changed to something more normal.

Since the recent DNS problems, I've had TTLG.com hard-wired to its IP address using the HOSTS file. I can't remember if I've had any connection problems since.
